i lost 3lbs! :))) long way to go still, but it's encouraging to see that i'm at least making progress!!

today is a snow day. and i'm going to see eagles of death metal tonight. wooooooooooooooooo!

reasons why today was the best:


1) it hella snowed.

2) in the middle of 3rd hour they called all the band and color guard kids to the band room and we were all like um, WHAT IS GOING ON!?!? and we sat there for like 20 mins being all antsy and nervous cause there was like 5 news crews there (and the MAYOR. the motherfucking mayor of blue springs omg) and we were all just like omg omg omg what's going on. we figured it was something to do with the fact that we're going to be in the tournament of roses parade. whenever dr. allshouse (our band director) wants to announce something important, he always does this thing where he's talking on his microphone and all of a sudden his phone rings and he answers it and he's like OH~ imagine that! it's the president of the TOR parade, telling us that he's inviting us to be in the parade! so anyway dr. a was talking on his microphone and his phone rang, and he answered it and it was Missouri senator Claire McCaskill and she was like "i just wanted to congratulate you guys on being invited to perform in President Elect Barack Obama's Inauguration parade!" and holy shit, i have never seen such an excited group of teenagers in my life. my friend sophie was sitting next to me and i freaked out and started screaming but she was just like, in shock lol. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!! What an amazing amazing experience that will be for all of us!! My history teacher knows what a huge politics nerd/Obama supporter I am, and when she heard the news she was freaking out with me lol.

anyway it was hella scary driving home from school. even though i live like less than a mile away lolllllll. my car is rear-wheel drive (for some reason i CANNOT say that phrase! try it. rear-wheel drive) so it's soooooooo bad on slick roads and i was seriously driving like, less than 10mph. so scary. but i made it home alive, yay! tyler and i hung out tonight and he lives kind of far away so i'm holding my breath until he texts me that he got home. he's a new driver and i'm worried for him :(

i went shopping today. all. day. well almost all day, lol. until like 8 and then tyler came over and we had cake and hot chocolate and played left 4 dead.

i'm tired
i've gained so much weight (im working out, though! and TRYING to eat healthy. ugh i hate working at a fast food place!)

sewing class, art class, science ugh.
finals next week, and only 1 week to finish my skirt, a quilt square, and a whole purse in sewing. otherwise i fail clothing 1 and can't take clothing 2 next semester. god i am the worst aspiring fashion designer EVER
going to see my grandparents over xmas because my grandpa is very sick :(

i went tanning today. it was not pleasant. i hate tanning but it helps my SADD and plus i want to be tan when we go to California/just in general. i use that gradual tanning lotion stuff too but i'm too lazy to put it on every night so it doesnt really work that fast lol. i hate when i get out of the tanning bed and my skin is all hot and arrghhghghhh.

so Left 4 Dead totally looks like the absolute best zombie game ever. Tyler and i have been playing the demo all week omgg it's so intense and fun and pretty. It comes out tommorow and i'm probably going to get it for tyler for xmas. there are so many games i want right now!! i want that, and Mirror's Edge (holy fuck best game everr), and the WoW expansion Wrath of The Lich King. i am such a nerd.

so i realllllllllly want one of the new ipod nanos. my creative zen is a big ol' piece of pink shit and it doesn't work 98% of the time and the new nanos are soooo freaking precious. i cant decide which color i want though! pink, yellow, and blue are my favs. i just dont know!!!!!!!

off to do math homeworks. then post again about some good movies i saw recently.

you cannot comprehend how excited i am

omg, so I saw Wanted on Friday. It was so incredibly bad ass. I don't even know how it could get more bad ass, but I'm sure it involves less clothes and more steak. Plus I am now officially IN LOVE with James McAvoy. I don't even have any words to describe how hot he is. Like yeah I always thought he was attractive but I was just like whateva :/ I HAD NO IDEA.

lol so the movie was over at 11 and we went outside and it was fucking surprise monsoon time. Rachel and I were like fuck this shit, we are not driving home in that we will die. so we drove around with her friend Nick in his big red pickup truck looking for somewhere to go inside until it stopped raining and of course the only place that was open was GUITAR CENTER! cuz they were having a midnight sale lollllllll. So we went inside and I played bass so we didn't get kicked out. Then we went to Ihop. FUCK YES.

So I finally got my Cool Heat shit omggggggggg. THE COLORS ARE SO FUCKING GORGEOUS. I just don't know how much I like blues on ME.... god I love them though!

You know those days when you're tired and restless and you WANT to get out of the house and do something but all you have the energy to do is lay around and watch Spongebob?

Today was one of those days lol. Plus my teeth randomly started hurting realllllllllly bad and I was PMSing :( so yeah it sucked. But my dad got us tickets to the Royals game and we went and it was a lot of fun! Except for my bitchy sister and this crazy, very over-zealous fat guy sitting in front of us lol. The weather was so perfect, it wasn't too hot or too cold.

So yeah I know I said I was gonna get paid on Friday... because I was SUPPOSED to... but for some reason I didnt, even though everyone else did, because it was PAYDAY and generally that's when people get paid lol. I was kind of pissed about it for a while until I realized it's stupid to be pissed about something like that, plus I'm supposed to be getting paid ~*for realz*~ tomorrow so I'm excited :D I'm totally getting these shoes! I was with Clint when I saw them and he said they were so gaudy and tacky and I'm like THAT'S WHY I LOVE THEM. And since it's BOGO time I might get these too if they have them! I love obnoxious shoes loll.

Can I just say how much I love this song? It's so damn groovy and the video is fucking hilarious. And those guys are hottttttt.

Also because I'm such a nerd I was watching Xplay today and it was a rerun but they were talking about this game, Warhammer Online. I still can't decide if it looks fucking awesome or really really horrible, but I'm leaning towards the awesome side so I applied to be a beta tester.

I hate how I never have time to work out anymore cause I always work out in the morning but now I have to work every morning pretty much :( I guess working at Sonic is kind of a workout though... I'm on my feet the whole time? lol idk.

so I got my wisdom teeth removed on Monday and I am feeling shit-tacular. Well idk, it's not THAT bad, I just like complaining. Seriously as soon as I can get another job that doesn't involve food or kitchens or anything like that I am quitting that bitch. There's a new Aldo shoes at our mall and I really want to work there, it's gorg. I don't feel like I'm snooty enough though but maybe I am, since my bff told me yesterday that he always saw me as 'one of those bitches in black at the makeup counter, not making onion rings' lolllllll. DIRECT QUOTE OF AWESOME, too bad Macy's/the makeup counters don't hire until 18.

in better, more FUCKING AWESOME news, I get paid today. I don't get paid a LOT, but I get paid! Monayyyyyyyyyy!! Bff and I are going to the mall so I can get my Cool Heat on and CHIPOTLE. FUCK YES CHIPOTLE. After being majorly food deprived for a whole week I am so looking forward to messily digging into my vegetarian burrito. Also I've limited myself to only buying 3 things at MAC cause I wanna get a haircut too. I'm thinking Warm Chill e/s, Gulf Stream e/s, and Cool Heat e/s cause I imagine all three of those would look gorgeous together. But I also LOVE the slimshines and I WANT another Tendertone and VOLCANIC ASH EXFOLIATOR? oshit.

I just drank a venti doubleshot on ice in hopes that it will keep me alive today but I think it might end up doing the opposite. Like, I think I might spontaneously implode at some point in the day.
